Heron Cottage is a charming semi-detached holiday house only a stone’s throw from the sea at the historic Cinque-Port of Hythe in Kent.

The house is conveniently located for a family beach holiday or for exploring the interesting history of this part of the Kent coastline.

Dogs – One well behaved dog. Downstairs only. Guests are reminded to be responsible pet owners respecting guidelines for dog walking on beaches and surrounds. On departure please ensure that there is no trace of the dog either inside or outside the property.

The front door opens into a small hall. From here you can enter the sitting room or pass through the dining room and bright sun room into a well equipped adjoining kitchen. Further on, a utility room holds the washing machine and sink and a downstairs W/C. The cosy sitting room is furnished with a sofa and two armchairs.

Stairs lead to two bedrooms. One is a double with a king size bed and the other a twin room. The family size modern bathroom has a spa bath and a separate shower, wash basin and W/C.

A pleasant courtyard style back garden has convenient shed storage for bikes or boogie boards and a decking area with outdoor seating to enjoy a summer breakfast or lunch in the fresh air.
